Ruchira Choudhuri is an advertising professional and a climate warrior who was recognised by UNEP for her project on carpooling. Ruchira has been an entrepreneur for more than two decades, as the founder of a leading advertising firm in Gujarat responsible for creating and building many national and international brands through a mix of hard business sense and creative innovation. Having been a qualified fine arts student and honed in the field of advertising, she recognises the marketability of indigenous art and Indian handloom and handicrafts and the need to build a sustainable platform for the development of artisans both economically and otherwise Ruchira is a Founder and CEO of Rtefacts.com – A virtual curator of handcrafted artefacts that provides a marketplace to lakhs of artisans of India showcasing Indian traditional craft and handloom internationally.
