Return Policy

  1. When you buy a RTEFACTS product, you enable an artisan keep a traditional craft alive, send his/her children to school, care for the family and other trickle down social impact of your purchase happens. Hence, returns are applicable to damaged products or products delivered being materially different from that ordered by a customer. Not all products are eligible for returns. Given the nature of our enterprise where artisans produce limited edition products based on non-industrial/hand-made methods of production, products may have slight variations in colours and textures, however the same should not be construed as defects or damage. In order to fairly compensate artisans for their material and workmanship, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are ‘Non- Returnable’. Please ensure you understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.
  2. Handicraft Craft items are non-returnable. Handloom products which are not custom made or pre-order items are returnable subject to the conditions of the Returns Policy.
  3. Please note that our artisans are often located in remote parts of the country, hence the packing of the products they make is based on locally sourced materials, though they are locally sourced materials, they maintain appropriate standards of packaging. They however make and pack the products with a warm heart and lot of gratitude.
  4. We request our customers to return only when the products eligible for return are received are substantially damaged or are materially different from what they ordered on RTEFACTS. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email at [email protected] with a photo and video of the damaged product with the Bar Code/Packaging code within 2 calendar days of delivery your order.
  5. Eligible products can only be returned if the return is informed to RTEFACTS within 2 calendar days of the delivery date provided the goods are in mint condition and packaging preserved. If you have ordered garments or textiles, they should NOT be soiled or damaged or have creases or marks. Those eligible household commodities, jewellery and other products which are eligible for return should be unused, unstained and not damaged or broken in order to be accepted back by RTEFACTS.
  6. For products which are returned subject to the above conditions, the shipping provider shall contact you by your designated mobile number hence you must make yourself available at your pick up address conveyed to RTEFACTS.
  7. For Cash on Delivery option selected, the customer must NOT open the package without making full payment. Once full payment is received by RTEFACTS, the return policy will apply as any other order.
  8. Pre- Order/Custom made products – Products which are based on Pre-Order/Custom made basis are NOT returnable. This is due to the reason that artisans upon receipt of an order would have begun making the product and would have invested in material and effort costs. Returns of such products shall cause them economic hardships.
  9. Products on discounts and promotional sale are not returnable.
  10. For Cash On Delivery for products returned, the mode of refund is only by bank transfer hence Customer must provide the accurate bank details to RTEFACTS. The refund shall reflect in your bank account in 10-15 days.
  11. In all cases of return, RTEFACTS must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, we will arrange for a return pick up at an agreed upon time. Customer must ensure that he/she is available to hand over the return package well packed to the person designated to collect the return package.
  12. We aim to process all returns requests made within 2 calendar days of delivery date within one (1) week. If you have any questions about your return, feel free to reach out to the RTEFACTS team at [email protected].
  13. Once your return has been authorized and the product received back by us, we would be happy to process your refund.
  14. All Returns/Refunds are subject to the discretion of RTEFACTS.

Refund  Policy

Upon authorization of your return/refund request, receiving the products back and verifying the state of the product as acceptable for refund, we would be happy to offer you refund. You can get your money back into your originating bank account/credit card or you can opt for a RTEFACTS  coupon  which can be used for any future purchase. You can use them as per your convenience, there is no expiry of a coupon.

If you’d like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place the order, we will initiate the refund after we receive the product back from you and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.  You can choose to receive the refund  to the same payment mode you used to place the order, which will reflect in your account within 10-15  business days from when the product is received back at RTEFACTS.

Amendments

RTEFACTS reserves the right to change these Policies at any time at its sole discretion.
